Bling, Bling, Bling!

This coming Monday I have a WHOLE lotta' bling going up in a brand new store on artfire.com

It took awhile, but I found some wonderful new suppliers for my jewelry and I'm really excited about them. MiMiLoLo on etsy is one of my new favorites, and I'm looking forward to sharing my creations that would only exist with her wonderful "finds".

I'm still going to have my etsy store, of course, but I'm excited to try out artfire as well.

In other news, I've also been doing a few paintings and I'm going to be doing many more, so keep your eyes open for those.
If you ever need a pet portrait done, definitely contact me and I'll be happy to work with you to create a masterpiece featuring your beloved four-legged friend and family member. I've been doing pet portraits in oils for over 5 years now and am excited to bring that aspect of my creativity into my online stores for the first time.
Here are my two newest pieces. They're both acrylics, and I have to say, it's the first time I've EVER done portraits in that medium. I usually only do oils. I'm thrilled with the results. I'm really happy that now I can offer portraits in either oil paint or acrylics, which gives customers a lot more choice. I also plan to work in watercolor soon.

I'm especially proud of this one, "Penelope". She's the first bunny I've ever done a portrait of.

This is Gretchen:

Well, I have to get back to the studio, but I just wanted to tease you with a few pictures. Look for the link to my new artfire store coming next week and lots of new items in my etsy store.
I can't wait to share them with you and your pups. As always, just a reminder that I also make matching jewelry for people and their pets, so if you see something you like, let me know if you want a set for you and your fuzzy (or in some cases, as with my pups, naked) pals!
